Greg Goodfliesh is former Vice President, Â鶹ÊÓƵX, the global business innovation accelerator of Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (Â鶹ÊÓƵ). Greg is based both in Hong Kong and in California¡¯s (U.S.) Silicon Valley, providing Â鶹ÊÓƵX with local conduits to cutting-edge digital developments.
Prior to his current appointment, Greg served as Managing Director, Â鶹ÊÓƵX Asia. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Â鶹ÊÓƵ¡¯s Asia Innovation team. Previously, he served concurrently as head of business development for Â鶹ÊÓƵ Japan as well as the Global Financial Â鶹ÊÓƵ lead for Â鶹ÊÓƵ¡¯s Asia Pacific region, and before then, as Director of Business Development for Â鶹ÊÓƵ Australia, where he was an integral member of the team that enabled Â鶹ÊÓƵ to become the largest life reinsurer in Australia.
Before moving to Australia in 2004, Greg was a Vice President and Actuary in Â鶹ÊÓƵ¡¯s Global Financial Â鶹ÊÓƵ unit, and was based in Â鶹ÊÓƵ¡¯s St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. He was responsible for the pricing, structuring, evaluation and monitoring of all asset-intensive transactions reinsured by Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Prior to joining Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 1997, he was with American Express, where he was responsible for the pricing, cash flow testing, and asset liability management of several product lines.
Greg is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in statistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
